Santo Domingo Dough Bowl with Negative Cloud Designs in Panels, c. 1910

This fine, mid-sized Santo Domingo dough bowl is lovely in every respect. It is beautifully formed, potted thickly for pueblo home use. The interior is slipped red and stone polished. The traditional panel design of possibly negative cloud devices are perfectly painted; the patina rich and dark. The condition is beautifully used. I really like this bowl!
