Acoma Black-on-White Fine Line Jar with Narrow Neck, c. 1920’s

Gorgeous example with abbreviated high shoulder and a narrow neck painted with negative pattern of white triangles. The main design is a chain of cloud and fine lines sometimes intersecting in cross-hatched areas. The black is deep and rich. Inner bowl shows signs of possible pueblo home use as a water jar, though this well could be an early tourist trade/train station jar.

Size 8” tall x 10” wide
Condition Excellent, with no restoration
Provenance A Santa Fe Collection
