“The Leaning Pitcher”: Kewa Small Vase with Narrow Neck, c. 1910

This is an early pitcher with rich patina and minimal botanic and geometric design. It is rather primitive feeling and this added to the minimal design makes it a pleasure within a collection of bolder pitchers. The Grecian urn shape is decidedly early tourist. Teal McKibben understood that as this pitcher is seen in her pastels against a wealth of its bolder cousin pitchers.

Condition: Excellent, unrestored

Provenance: The Collection of Teal McKibben
