Cochiti Pueblo Pottery Moccasin Candle Holder, c. 1910

$475.00

Pottery boots and moccasins became early train station items at several pueblos in the early 20th century as a miniaturization in pottery production was in full swing to appeal to travelers. This fine example features a flower triangular mountain-like features and a handle since the moccasin ingeniously could serve as a candle holder. This is an early example.
